On 10 Nov 2007 the Knights of Columbus presented two thousand wheelchairs at four Veteran's Hospitals in the United States.  Our 4th Degree Bishop Sheil Assembly participated in an honor guard at Hines Veteran's Hospital, Maywood, Illinois, where 500 wheelchairs were presented in a ceremony.  Representatives from Supreme, State, Assembly (4th Degree), Council (1st, 2nd, and 3rd Degrees), the Wheelchair Foundation, United States Military, and the Boy Scouts of America took part in this event.
